Who We Are
The Iberian Best Delegate Conference (IBDC) is an academic initiative that unites the most talented delegates and chairs from the leading Model United Nations conferences across Spain and Portugal.
Born from the shared spirit of excellence, cooperation, and global citizenship, this conference celebrates the values that make MUNs so transformative: diplomacy, teamwork, dialogue, and the pursuit of a better world.
Organized by the team behind BIMUN ESADE, one of Iberia’s most established MUN conferences, the IBDC seeks to become the annual meeting point for the brightest minds of the Iberian MUN community — those who stood out for their leadership, oratory, and commitment to the ideals of the United Nations.
Our Mission
To create a space of academic recognition and collaboration where the top delegates and chairs from Iberian conferences can meet, debate, and grow together — reflecting the essence of Goal 17 of the UN 2030 Agenda: Partnerships for the Goals.
Just as diplomacy builds bridges between nations, the IBDC builds bridges between conferences — fostering cooperation, unity, and excellence within the Model UN community.

How Does IBDC work?
Each participating conference elects their Best Delegate, Honorable Mentions from their 2025–2026 editions. Together with their Chairs, this group of brilliant students earn a spot in the IBDC.
